# Adding Property Groups and Properties to an Organisation

Adding Property Groups and Properties to an Organisation

*When setting up an organisation in admin, all its properties must be added in order to view assessments within them.*

*RiskBase uses property groups to organise properties in admin, which must be created first.*

**Creating Property Groups:**

1. Sign In to [admin.riskbase.uk](http://admin.riskbase.uk).
2. Right click on an organisation in the explorer.
3. Select **Property Group**.
4. Provide a name and click **Create**.

**Adding a Property to a Property Group:**

1. Right click on a property group.
2. Select **New Property**.
3. Provide a name and click **Create**.
